The Student Services Committee
The Student Services Committee must review all legislation concerning services to students at Texas State including but not limited to: student center, counseling, dining, housing, and transportation. The Committee must recommend action upon all potential student service issues concerning the students of Texas State to the Senate.

The Academic Affairs Committee
The Academic Affairs Committee must review all legislation concerning academic issues including but not limited to course descriptions, course availability, new courses, curriculum, syllabus, the Honor Code, and advising. The Committee must recommend action upon all potential academic issues affecting students to the Senate.

The Student's Rights Committee
The Student's Rights Committee will review university systems, policies, procedures, and practices as it relates to freedom of expression, access to university information, academic freedom, and administrative abuse of power and proposes amendments to those policies which benefit the advancement of student’s rights as majority stakeholders on campus.

The Selections and Appointments Committee
The Selections and Appointments Committee will investigate to discover if nominees to fill vacant Senate seats meet a high standard of capability, have all the desired qualifications, and are not improperly entangled in any activities which may result in a loss of public trust in nominated and properly confirmed Senators in accordance with the rules and standards of the Senate.
